About This Blog

This blog was created to help organize and record my thoughts and ideas as I travel around the world and to share them with anyone who is interested. To me, traveling the globe is the best way to experience food, history, art, and to develop an understanding and appreciation for other cultures. Traveling forces me to think about our world in new ways and challenges my values. It is one of the best ways to practice philosophy.

During the 2018-2019 school year, I participated in Fulbright’s Teachers for Global Classroom program. This is a year long fellowship that included a course on global education in the fall, a symposium in the spring, an international field experience, and a capstone project. The summer of 2019 I will be going to India to tour schools, meet with teachers, and collaborate on global education projects. Part of my final capstone project will be to create a website for educators that supports their own global ed practices and to write a blog about my experience India, which I am doing on this platform.
