The Place I'm staying in Glastonbury

Elegant entry hall.
Entry to the house. Love the Tiles.
I did not know anything about Gastonbury before coming here, but my goodness is it an extraordinary place! They say that there is no place like it in the UK or Europe. I'm only beginning to figure out what that means. What I've gathered is that there are a ton of myths and legends specifically about this place from the beginning of time up to now. This is a site of a several primitive (pagan) religions - there are myths that the Holy Grail was here at one point - our hosts described it as having a "feminine" energy - there's a lot of religions here now. There's a tower called the Gastonbury Tor which dates back to 200-300 BC and no one really knows exactly why it was built, but it also has ton of legends associated specifically regarding fertility, but also King Arthur. It is a strange, mystical place and I kind of love it. It's the kind of place where Professor Trelawney from Harry Potter would live. For those of you who do know what that means - she's the sight seeing teacher who is largely regarded as a fraud by other teachers and students and her class is considered an easy "A" (its an open secret). She's incredibly eccentric and a hot mess most of the time, has a bit of a drinking problem and is not a great teacher. However, she did predict the Dark Lord would return (no one believed her) among another thing that gives the plot away - so she is quite important. Anyway, Glastonbury is an interesting place.

Our hosts here are wonderful. Here are some of the pictures of their bed and breakfast. You can see more about their place here.
Abundant storage for your clothes etc for a one night or much longer stay.
