Tilak Ceremony

View this post on Instagram

The Tilak Ceremony is a ceremony usual held before Hindu weddings. We were welcomed with it. They toss flowers on your head and give you a bindi (red dot on forehead). The bindi represents the third eye or then”seat of concealed wisdom.” Married Hindu women usually wear them. #fulbrightteach
